EMT Day Course
Class meets on every Lee County C Shift 
from 9:00AM - 6:00PM except weekends. Classes are held every 3rd day like a firefighter schedule.

EMT Night Course

Meets every Tuesday andThursday night from 5:00PM till 9:00PM for lectures and 
Monday or Wednesdays from 5-9 labs.
Labs are divided into two groups.            Group 1 meets on Mondays & Group 2 meets on Wednesdays

Program Description

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program is focused on the acute management and transportation of patients in critical and emergency situations.  The EMT is responsible for scene and patient management until transportation resources arrive; during transport to a health care facility, between health care facilities and in other health care settings.  Professionals in the field use a variety of non-invasive techniques and interventions to reduce morbidity, minimalize secondary trauma or injury and provide comfort and support of the patient and family. A focus is placed on the safe and secure transport of patients in a multitude of medical situations.
